Commissioner Robert Scott of Texas Education Agency met with area superintendents at Region 9 Education Service Center in Wichita Falls on Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Commissioner Scott, who oversees, 1,222 public schools and charters in the State of Texas spoke to area educators about their needs and new initiatives on the horizon for public school children. While meeting with area superintendents, Commissioner Scott made a special presentation to Mr. Steve Harris of City View ISD in honor of the district's Recognized rating in 2007-2008 State Accountability System.
