CV Band Calendar 2024

Dear City View Band Students,

This is the schedule for all City View ISD Band Members!
All concert/rehearsal events are mandatory unless specified otherwise, and every student that signs up for band agrees to participate in the following events when signing up for Band.
We understand emergencies and unforeseen circumstances, but please be aware of important band dates!
Please plan vacations, appointments, and other events around these dates. Missing any event may result in the inability to perform with the group.

Students, please talk to your parents, and inform them of these dates. Parents, please check in with your students to make sure they are keeping up with things. We are adjusting and changing things to give students opportunities and help students succeed. So please check back frequently to stay informed, as well as read announcements sent out through the City View App.

Here is our most recent addition to student opportunities: 'All incoming 8th-11th grade band students are eligible to participate in the City View Charging Thundering Mustang Band. For a student to be eligible to march, they must attend all rehearsals and events through the spring and summer prior to earning a spot in the marching band.'

We appreciate all of the support from our community, and strive to do our best with pride for our organization! Please do not hesitate to contact the band staff with any questions, comments, or concerns.

Members of the City View band agree to perform to the best of their abilities and work together with the band staff in making this year’s band the finest musical organization that our combined efforts can produce. To achieve our goals, our efforts must include mature, responsible attitudes and actions, and lots of hard work! We must report promptly to all rehearsals, classes, and performances, and practice both individually and as a section to perform at the highest level possible. This is the only way we can strive for excellence in everything we do.
