Congratulations to Vicki Dawkins on her retirement from City View ISD. Mrs. Dawkins has been an educator for 33 years! 25 of those years have been spent at City View Elementary. Mrs. Dawkins, you have made a difference and touched a lot of lives throughout your teaching career. Mrs. Dawkins will have a buddy bench dedicated in her name at the Elementary school. Her legacy at City View will live on forever!

Today we had our Field Day for PreK-2nd grade and our academic rally for 3-5 grades! We love to celebrate our students. Shout out to all of our wonderful teachers for pushing our kids to be their best. Shout out to the kids for meeting the standard. Thank you to all of the staff who made today happen. 3rd-5th Grade Field Day is scheduled for Tuesday May 14th! Field Day will begin at 9:00am at the High School Football Field. If you plan to take your child home for the day after the event, please sign them out with their homeroom teacher. Kona Ice will be in attendance.

Field Day is still on for tomorrow as of right now. The weather seems to be cooperating tomorrow morning. Field Day will begin at 9:00am. We will be moving parts field day inside to the small gym. Parents can meet students in the north parking lot and back by the playground area. Once field day is over, if you would like to sign out your child you must do so through the front office.
