**WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS**
We created an Elementary ONLY Yearbook this year and were able to keep the cost low enough that we are going to get one for FREE for each student at the City View Elementary Campus! We will get them passed out to the students a little closer to the end of the school year.
This amazing Mustang is living up to the Standard! Thank you for bringing your best!
Our 2nd graders collaborated with our High School students this week at the pond! They had a blast!
We would love to welcome Bailey Wright to the Mustang Family! She will be joining our team for the 24-25 school year teaching 2nd grade! It's a better view as a Mustang!
2nd grade learning about Earth Day! They had some fun taking care of our campus! Thank you for your service!
Ms. Wright's class celebrated Earth Day yesterday by picking up trash around our school and making posters. Thank you for helping take care of our Earth and campus!

City View Elementary Field Day is right around the corner! PreK - 2nd grade Field Day will be Monday May 13th. 3rd-5th grade Field Day will beTuesday May 14th. STAAR Testing season at City View Elementary is upon us! There are some very important dates coming up we would like you all to know about.
April 9th - 4th Grade Reading / April 10th - 3rd Reading / April 11th - 5th Reading/
April 17th - 5th Science/
April 23rd-4th Grade Math / April 24th - 3rd Grade Math / April 25th - 5th Grade Math
At school, we are working hard to make every effort to create a relaxed and comfortable testing environment. We are depending on your help at home with the following.
- Be positive and encourage your child
- Have your child get a good nights rest the night before test.
- Please do not schedule any doctor or dentist appointment for the dates listed
- Please make sure you don't sign your child out early on testing days
- Parents/Guardians will not be able to eat at school with their student on STAAR testing dates (PK-5th) You may drop food off on the days with the secretary
- If possible, please make sure student smart watches and phones stay at home on the day of test.

Today we were able to deliver books to Pre-K thru 2nd grade students! For the 3rd year in a row we were able to buy a book for every student. We are trying to instill a love for reading in every child. Thank you to our community for supporting our fundraisers! We are able to do things like this because of you! Enjoy the book with your child!
