KIDS HEART CHALLENGE
Our school has officially started Kids Heart Challenge with the American Heart Association and we need your help! Over the next few weeks students will be learning about their heart and raising awareness and funds for the American Heart Association. Our school's goal is to raise $4000 in donations and for every student to complete Finn's Mission.

We are excited to see our students again in the morning. A few reminders- please make sure your child has a water bottle. We are only using bottle fillers. The water fountains are not on. Also, there is no tutoring this week. We will resume tutorials next Tuesday, Jan 11. Lastly, the tardy bell rings at 7:50. Any student not in the building at the time of the bell checks in through the office. Students are required to serve a detention when they accumulate 5 tardies. Thank you for your help with all these matters.
Monday is a staff development day for teachers. Students will return to school on Tuesday. Please remember to send a water bottle with your child filled only with water. Parents- we have a lot of clothing in our lost and found. If you are on campus for parties tomorrow please stop by the library hallway and claim anything your child is missing. Any items not picked up will be donated. We appreciate your help
5th grade students spent today testing out sleighs they built. Students had to problem solve and build sleighs that would carry cargo down a ramp without dumping over. The winners went the fastest without losing their cargo
We would like to thank Petsmart. They brought Santa and a service dog to school today. Every child received a stuffed animal. Thank you Petsmart!!
We will have early dismissal on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Students in pk-2nd grade will be dismissed at 11:30 and 3rd -5th will dismiss at 11:45. This is a change in our calendar. Make sure your child has a ride as many daycares are not picking up. Busses will run and students will be provided with a sack lunch.
