Our City View Elementary students have been learning about instrument families in music. Today, Dr. Lattrell did a presentation over string families! #gomustangs

Mrs.Butlers class learned about weight of objects. They were able to choose items and predict it’ll they were lighter or heavier than the block.

Mrs Pearson’s class made their own balance scale to measure and weigh items




Some of the groups got to make play dough out of peeps!




Ms. Jenna and Ms. Boggs’ groups had to find eggs with sight words and coins. They had to read the words and count the coins. Learning can be fun!

First grade is learning about fractions, life cycles, and adjectives by using chicks and eggs



1st grade had to hunt eggs and write down the time shown on the clock inside

City View Elementary Daddy Daughter Dance April 26th!

The kids enjoyed Chase the Turtle visiting our pre-k today. They have been talking about mammals so they were able to do the checklist to prove he wasn't a mammal

Pre-k is learning all about worms. Worms aren’t icky, they are our friends!

Mrs Beshear’s class was able to see how egg candling works in order to check their baby chicks. Students were able to see the baby chick inside




Parents, if the rain and lightning continue, we will not be taking students outside for dismissal. Students will be kept inside the building until their car pulls up to a door. As a result, dismissal will take longer than normal. However, the safety of our students is our upmost priority. We appreciate your help and understanding
3rd grade parents- due to the weather we will be dismissing from the front of the building instead of the gravel parking lot
