Lady Mustangs Christmas Outreach
KFDX is hosting its "Soup and Socks" Event on December 10th. They take monetary donations but are also asking for donations of beanies and socks for the homeless community that they serve at this event. I think it is so important for our athletes to serve in their own communities, and I think that this outreach can be a humbling one.
We will be collecting beanies and socks for adults and children starting tomorrow and going through Dec. 6th. There will be four boxes located in the HS teachers' lounge 2 for adults and 2 for kids. They will also be out during our JV tournament Thursday-Saturday in hopes of getting our visiting teams and fans to join in!
Please help your Lady Mustangs in this endeavor. We will be delivering the socks and beanies downtown on Dec. 7th so that the volunteers for the event can sort and distribute them accordingly!
