Dear City View ISD Community,

I hope this message finds you well as we prepare to welcome the new school year. I’m excited to share the incredible activities and achievements that have taken place this summer within our CTE programs.

Pancake Breakfast by City View FFA

We kicked off the year with a warm and welcoming pancake breakfast organized by our City View FFA officers for our new teacher orientation. Their dedication and hard work not only provided a delicious start to the day but also set a positive tone for the entire year. Thank you to our FFA officers for their continued support of our district! 🥞👏

Ag Teachers Professional Development

Our ag teachers attended the annual Ag Teachers Association of Texas (ATAT) Conference, where they participated in valuable networking opportunities and professional development sessions. This year, we were thrilled to welcome nearly 300 new teachers to the profession, including over 100 at the New Teacher Reception. We are committed to supporting our educators as they continue to grow and excel in their careers.

Texas FFA State Convention in Houston

City View FFA had the privilege of attending the 96th Annual Texas FFA State Convention in Houston. Our students took part in leadership workshops, competed in the Quiz Bowl, and served in various roles throughout the convention. Highlights of the trip included an Astros game, a concert, and a memorable dress-up night. Despite facing challenges from the weather, our students’ resilience and enthusiasm made this an unforgettable experience.

Celebrating Our Nation’s Independence

On July 4th, City View FFA proudly displayed flags in honor of our nation’s independence. This act of patriotism is just one example of how our students contribute to the community and honor the values we hold dear.

Area 4 Leadership Camp in Brownwood

Our FFA officer team attended the Area 4 Leadership Camp, where they engaged in leadership workshops and outdoor activities. This camp was an opportunity for our students to develop their leadership skills, make new connections, and prepare for the upcoming school year.

Texas Tech Camp Achievements

Congratulations to Audrey Graham and Kolter Powell, who participated in a camp at Texas Tech and made us proud with their accomplishments. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and success.

Memorial Day Tribute

In honor of Memorial Day, our FFA members placed flags to pay tribute to the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country. We extend our deepest gratitude to those who have served and continue to serve.

Welcoming New CTE Teachers

We are excited to announce the addition of several highly qualified CTE teachers to our team this year. Their diverse expertise and enthusiasm for teaching will greatly enhance the learning experiences of our students. We are confident that these new educators will help us continue to provide top-notch education and prepare our students for successful careers.
