City View FFA attends 95th Texas FFA State Convention in Dallas This years theme was "Cultivate" FFA members served the Texas FFA Day of Service at White Rock Lake where they were able to provide work for community service. Some fun at TopGolf! Greenhand and Senior Quiz Bowl teams competed against some great competition. 2 Members served as Courtesy Corp for convention. Heard Josh Ward with the Kick-off Concert. Keynote speaker Dan Owolabi had great insight for members! City View FFA officers attended the Area 4 Leadership camp in Brownwood this week. Our students were able to hone in on leadership activities to help enhance their leadership abilities while networking with other FFA members within area 4.

Bobwhite Brigades Cadet places Top Honor! City View FFA member, Madelynn Hopkins attended the Bobwhite Brigades camp in Rising Star Texas at the Wood Ranch where she was the top cadet of the camp! She was able to develop leadership skills as well as learn all about quail. Her success earned her a hunting trip this next spring. Very proud of the work she is doing!

City View FFA Fundraiser! Proceeds goes to the start of the City View FFA Ag Mechanics Scholarship Fund as well as the FFA Chapter Operations. 14ft Utility Trailer - $5,500 Tx themed Porch Swing - $500 Built by City View FFA members that showed at Wichita County, Ft Worth and Houston Ag Mechanics Shows. Today, FFA members attended the Area 4 Convention. Officers served as delegates to represent our chapter for the upcoming year. Congratulations to Madelynn Hopkins who was selected as the Area's Star Chapter Farmer in Agribusiness. She will advance to state in July.
